Secret Agent Man: The Hunt for Red Rock Rover

You are agent 006, on a mission to infiltrate DVS headquarters and secure the blueprints for a laser satellite. This satellite, code-named "Red Rock Rover" has the ability to pinpoint and fire upon any target from Earth orbit. In this game agent 006 heads to a series of islands in the Pacific basin. You have to do the usual spy stuff like destroying satellites, disabling lasers by hacking into the computer mainframe using diskettes you found and blowing up a reinforced steel door with a stick of dynamite.

Secret Agent Man is one of the harder games made by Apogee. It requires you to think ahead, as it is quite easy to get stuck in the levels. Also numerous enemies, including metal dogs and robots are there to prevent 006 to reach the blueprints, some even requiring plain luck to get past. The game engine is the same as in Crystal Caves, which means 16x16 pixel tiles, EGA graphics and flexible player movements.
