The Blues Brothers
When i was eleven, my dad got me a Creative Sound Blaster 16 Pro for my birthday. I didn't really know what it was, or what it could do, but when i started Blues Brothers, i was almost knocked of my feet. It was the Blues Brothers theme in FM synthesized midi format, and i loved it!
You play this game either as Jake or Elwood, and you're supposed to collect five items needed for a concert: a guitar, a microphone, a camera, a poster and a contract. You'll visit many varied places like a shopping mall, a jail, a construction site and ofcoarse the gig itself.
This game doesn't have the best graphics ever seen, but the enemy and player sprites are great and sometimes pretty funny. The variety in surroundings and the many cool things you can do, like sliding from hills, flying with umbrellas or balloons, climbing fences make this game really fun to play!

Having trouble with the birds in level one?
If you have trouble getting past the birds in the first level, here's a trick that uses a glitch in this game. Climb up in the tree to the two boxes, grab one and walk to the umbrella on the left. As you walk near the umbrella, throw the box. Now jump, if everything went well, you'll now float, even though you don't have the umbrella.All screenshots for The Blues Brothers:
